SENIOR YEAR SCHOOL SCHEDULE.

SENIOR YEAR SCHOOL SCHEDULE.

fourth of july : independence day.

fourth of july : independence day.

my 21st birthday : 6-7-2011

my 21st birthday : 6-7-2011

it’s been awhile since i have updated my blog-ness.

but summer is here, and feels like it is slipping through my fingers, but i am savoring every moment, and everything i am getting to do.

lately i have just ben reminded of how blessed i am, in everything i get to do, and how truly i believe that everything happens for a reason, and how God is in control of my life… the people i meet, the job i have, where i live, who my friends are, i don’t believe that is it just by chance.. it think there is a reason for it all. and- that is a wonderful thing, and i just am really growing and learning, and as i am growing up, i am learning what life is really about, and my cinclusion:

life. is. good.

life is wonderful, the experiences, and beauty all around me, the people in my life, the fun and laughter… everything… is just how it should be.

this summer has been mellow, just spending a lot of time with friends, and working- but you know what, even then i have learned to love it- and go with it. some of my favorite days are the days where we do nothing, but we do it together.

we just went up to rexburg this last weekend to spend time with the DUNES clan, and it was a blasssssst. I was so grateful that it worked out and we got to go, i will post some pictures later, and now i am getting ready for next week coming down to CA to go to girls camp, it’s gonna be great, and exactly the time that i need, and the break from life, and work that i need, just a time to spend with my mom and really relax, and have fun. i am ready. i am speaking at girls camp, and my talk is about writing your own story, and living a life to be proud of, and what sorts of things you can leave behind for those to learn from you, and it’s been a cool experience, thinking and remembering things just in my own life…

anyway- that’s just sort of my life, and i love it! hope everything is going well for everyone!

take a break and be grateful for what you have.

- the world is a beautiful place, and we have so much to be happy about!

forever family. our special day. May 20, 2011.

the four of us: Mom, Dad, Heather, and I are going to the LosAngeles temple today, to be sealed as a family. In the Mormon culture, this is a huge deal- and before my Dad was baptized and converted to the Mormon faith, I honestly would have never dreamed that this would happen. I don’t exactly know how to explain it to those who aren’t of our faith- but I am sure you know that non-LDS (Mormon) cannot get married in the temple’s of LDS, well my Dad wasn’t a member until 6 years ago, and so my parents weren’t married in the temple, and we believe that Families can be together forever, even after this life, and so today we get to do the sealing, I suppose you could call it a ceremony. So I am pretty excited, and nervous, but happy. I don’t know, it is mixed emotions. But I am glad this day is finally here.
